XI. XIV. 11. 4. 14. It’s all in the numbers, and all came together as XIV. The clues, the theme, the event, the special day. My Birthday Soirée. Summer may be over but there’s always a reason to celebrate and what better way than to celebrate life with my Birthday.

The perfect night outside. Read on and experience a glimpse into my Saturday birthday soirée. The tables were set, drinks ready and the night ahead. The Reserve Restaurant was the choice to kick things off in style with service like a Swiss timepiece, chilled De Grendel wines and mouth-watering food, all in a venue that echoes excellence and poise.

There was no better place to be than The Reserve Restaurant as it just added to an already special day.

The menu I selected was nothing but the finest from The Reserve Restaurant. Their special Salmon Tartare, Burrata, Grilled Beef Fillet, Crusted Tuna Fillet, Vegetables, Chocolate Fondant and Cheese Platters all complimented with endless bottles of De Grendel’s Sauvignon Blanc, Brut MCC & Rosé wines not forgetting my own special twist. Prime cuts, cooked with love and perfection enjoyed with a personal taste and selection of quality wines shared with amazing friends and company.

When I celebrate there are always surprises and this time I was surprised, not only by what would turn out to be a perfect evening but by the way my Dessert was delivered. You can see more of that further down but it’s all in the details. WOW. What a way to kick off the evening and the only way to celebrate life, with good people.

On the topic of surprises, there’s nothing wrong with sweetness and goodness in life and I thought I’d share a little of that with everyone. Only the best sweets, chocolate, biscuits and treats sourced from Wings Group who are known for their sweet goodies. Chewy sweet caramel Toffifee, rich butter Messino biscuits, dark chocolate Leibniz, cherry laced Deloba pastry biscuits, my favourite créme noisettes and of course rich Ritter Sport chocolates.

To top it all off and to bring back some memories, you can’t forget the Hula Hoops from Wings Group. It was my birthday. We’re forever young and have to enjoy our lives. Everyone was surprised and it was given with nothing but love so to all those that received their goodie bags, enjoy it and never forget the goodness of life.

That was just the entrée.

The real fun kicked off as we moved into the moved from the Reserve Restaurant into the Reserve Club itself at which time it filled up nicely and the beat and rhythms began taking control. The club lit up in celebration, smiles, light and love as the drinks arrived and we were all ready to party. The twisted table took over and as the night progressed, smiles filled the venue, the beat filled our beings and the drinks flowed.

It was a glorious occasion and an unforgettable night filled with love and amazing people. One more surprise for all the women as they left The Reserve that partied well into the morning. A rose. A thank you. Goosebumps and memories to a great night and morning. A true celebration. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, friends and special company, you’re all beautiful and filled with goodness and character. I’ve got nothing but love for you. Last but definitely not least, a big thank you to Sophia in Style, a premium women’s fashion resource ensuring the hostesses were looking stylish and sexy. Love it.
