Last week marked the launch of the latest eye-wear from Oakley South Africa at the luxurious Crystal Towers Hotel and Spa in Cape Town. 2011 marks the 150th running of the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate and what a special year this year’s event was. It was by far the best and most memorable Queen’s Plate and consisted of fine thoroughbreds, beautiful people all gathered at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town on Saturday January 8. From what I’ve heard this was the largest Queen’s Plate yet.
