Subliminal Invasion Preview & Video

15 July 2011 No Comment

Invading your mind, taking control of your body, pleasuring your soul. The brand new double mix from the mighty Erick Morillo does just what his infamous Wednesday night parties at Pacha in Ibiza do to thousands of dedicated clubbers every week. Subliminal Invasion picks up the momentum from the phenomenal success of last year’s Voodoo Nights, having the parties as an intergalactic playground full of the sexiest creatures in all the galaxies.

Collected over 2 CDs, ‘Subliminal Invasion mixed by Erick Morillo’ features the peak-time sound of those heady nights. Erick sets out his stall on CD1, launching with his own instant summer 2011 anthem ‘Stronger’, followed by the first of a clutch of tracks from his exciting In The Screen project (with Harry Choo Choo Romero and Jose Nunez), ‘We Are The Night’.

The vocal bangers keep rolling with recent highlights and an exclusive first taste of forthcoming smashes from the Subliminal stable, that encompasses the Sondos, Bambossa and Subusa labels too. Erick has A&R’ed and signed these tracks himself, so there really couldn’t be a more personal collection of dancefloor weapons selected by the Subliminal main man.

From Jason Herd’s welcome return to house music to Eddie Amador’s wigged-out cut ‘Spirituality’ and former NBA hero turned Morillo protégé Rony Seikaly, featuring the blissful vocals of Craig David on ‘Let’s Fly Away’. CD2 takes the vibe into deeper territory, where heads-down tracky groovers make way for a sonic crescendo including HCCR’s ‘Overdose’, Erick, Jose and Harry’s forthcoming ‘Lights Out Lasers’ and DJ Dove’s monster ‘Break It Down’.
