The Good Work Gig Grand Beach Café

7 February 2011 No Comment

This Friday in Cape Town marks a very special night of live music, entertainment and food under the stars at the The Grand Café next door to the V&A Waterfront in aid of raising funds for the Good Work Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping children and the elderly affected by AIDS.

Acts performing at this event include GoodLuck, The Dirty Skirts and Plush and during the night there will be a live auction managed by the multi-talented Richard Hardiman who will be placing a number of items under the hammer.

Some of these items include, a Jordy Smith autographed surfboard, signed Guitar by the artists performing, a 2 night getaway for two to the famous 5-Star Londolozi Private Game Reserve, rare wine collections and a 2 night stay for two at Aquila Game Reserve.

Limited Tickets are available at R350 which includes food and drink at Web Tickets:

This event is for a really good cause and part of living a lifestyle is balance and giving back, so support of this cause would be something special. If you are unable to attend but would still like to make a contribution to this incredibly important work, the following account has been set up. No amount is too small when you consider some families are living off less than R200 per month. Generosity is more gratefully received than you will ever know.
