The beautiful Penelope Cruz is the new face of Lancome’s Fall / Winter 2010 / 2011 Campaign. The campaign was shot in Paris by Mario Testino. The actress posed on a balcony at the famous Hotel Crillon, with a classic updo and elegant, one-shouldered black dress.

Trésor was launched in 1990 and has been fronted by some of Hollywood’s most fabulous faces, including Isabella Rossellini and Kate Winslet. Lancôme’s current campaign for Trésor in Love stars brand spokesmodel Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann as a young Audrey Hepburn.

The latest offering from the highly collectible Margiela sunglasses line a pair of oversized hybrid aviators with tortoiseshell acetate arms and half-frame trim.

Lenses have a half amber, half brown tint and all other trim is gold metal. If that’s not enough, the case has a beautiful design as well.

Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana have teamed up with Bacardi’s vermouth brand Martini to launch their Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana.

The new drink comes to the shelves in a lavish gold bottle in a black case. The new Martini Gold vermouth is a blend of bergamot from Calabria, lemons from Sicily as well as oranges, Spanish saffron, myrrh from Ethiopia, ginger from India, and cubebe pepper from Indonesia.

In addition Twisted Lifestyle can report that Dolce & Gabbana are also working on a special project titled Quando Quando Quando. From what we understand, this project is a short promotional film as part of a campaign to promote Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana

The designers and their representatives are maintaining a low profile on the project, with the film’s official website showing nothing but a countdown to its release.

There’s a trailer out which shows a seductive woman turning heads in an Italian cityscape, it can already be said, however, that the visual language will stay close to the designers’ black-and-white, 1950s-inspired campaign starring Madonna.

The duo at D&G are definitely keeping busy lately and it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with.

Dolce & Gabbana will design the formal club suits for Chelsea Football team after signing a new three-year partnership, according to Vogue UK.

Using the club’s signature blue, the designer duo have created two outfits for the players – the first comprises a three piece suit with an embroidered logo crest. The second comprises a pair of jeans worn with a shirt and black trainers. Both looks will be finished off with a black wool fitted coat.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti and the team’s staff will also be dressed by the label featuring two-button jackets, blue shirts, wool jumpers and high-heeled shoes for the women. The Directors Lounge meanwhile has been rechristened the Dolce & Gabbana Lounge and has been completely refitted with blue furniture, oak floors and touches of silver.

The House of Gucci has come out with a new collection of “heritage” aviator sunglasses.

The three new models Unisex 1627/S, Mens 1622/S and Women’s 3108/S all feature the red and green Gucci stripe and “G” logo on both temples. The sunglasses come with a special edition leather case and carrying pouch. The case has a wide signature stripe while the pouch has a matching strap.

They’re now available for $174, $180 and $170 respectively from haute online eyewear boutique Eyegoodies.

The Fall 2010 campaign by Miu Miu is all about girl power with the close knit group dressed in feminine frocks of purple, blue and yellow hues. While in real life these models don’t actually look all that similar, thanks to the power of makeup, they look every bit like sisters in this chic fashion story.

The new Hermès Watch an avant-garde addition to Hermès’ watch collection and is designed by French architect and designer Marc Berthier.

Inside, the watch houses the Swiss automatic Sowind Girard-Perregaux caliber GP3200 movement with a power reserve of 44 hours.

The case, in titanium, measures 36.5mm x 36.5mm. The crystal is an AR Coated Sapphire as is the display back and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

The Hermès Carre H Watch will be released in a limited run of 173 pieces with a suggested retail price of $15,000.

Libération – the iconic left wing French newspaper has invited Karl Lagerfeld to be editor-in-chief for the day. The entire issue bears his mark, from illustrations to comments, to special interviews of him, and an opinion page about the designer.

His illustrations include a self-portrait for the cover of today’s edition, which is 14 by 22 inches twice as large as it usually is. A note from the real editor, Laurent Joffrin, states that the designer “has a profound culture, and a sharp eye” in an almost self-justifying tone.

The following two pages are in-depth interviews of the guest editor, discussing his passion for literature, as well as “the kingdom” he has built. The rest of the paper is left to daily news stories–all of which are illustrated by Karl’s fashion-o-licious drawings, ranging from portraits of Afghan men to Angela Merkel or Liliane Bettencourt.

The newspaper–a collector’s item–is printed in a limited, 160,000 copies–and is gathering shocked gazes in cafés and kiosks all over the capital.

An anonymous Russian billionaire has paid a whopping 1 million dollars to star alongside Lady Gaga in her latest music video Alejandro.

The 30-year-old man, identified only as Arkady, appears wearing an SS-style leather coat and cap in the scene in Alejandro, Lady Gaga’s new single.

During the scene (pictured below) Arkady is seen staring moodily at Lady Gaga before hurling off his cap and moving closer to her.

The Russian was described by some media sites in russia as Lady Gaga’s “biggest fan”.
