Indian hospitality group TAJ are set to take over the former Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma, Marrakech Project. This project was set to open last year. The resort will now be known as the Taj Palace Marrakech. The resort hotel covers 7 hectares is situated at the foot of Atlas mountain, in Marrakech’s Palmeraie district. Taj will manage the resort hotel which is owned by Indian based Apeejay Surrendra Group.

Hermes are to spend over 114 Million Euros or 14% of its end-year cash reserves, on share buybacks. Hermes blamed LVMH, which already owns 21.4% of the company, for drying up the market by continuing to build up its stake, a process it unveiled last autumn.
