Penelope Cruz Face Of Lancôme Trésor

The beautiful Penelope Cruz is the new face of Lancome’s Fall / Winter 2010 / 2011 Campaign. The campaign was shot in Paris by Mario Testino. The actress posed on a balcony at the famous Hotel Crillon, with a classic updo and elegant, one-shouldered black dress.
Trésor was launched in 1990 and has been fronted by some of Hollywood’s most fabulous faces, including Isabella Rossellini and Kate Winslet. Lancôme’s current campaign for Trésor in Love stars brand spokesmodel Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann as a young Audrey Hepburn.

Best Way To Pour Champagne

French researchers have figured out how to keep your champagne robust with bubbles according to a new study published in the August 11 print edition of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.
Gerard Liger-Belair, a professor and author of Uncorked: the Science of Champagne, led the study with a team of scientists and found “a beer-like way of serving” champagne at lower temperatures preserved the bubbles or CO2 best.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Public Debut

The fastest production car recently made its North American debut at the 60th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Bugatti in a new blue midnight colour.
Though the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is capable of reaching 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph), its speed has been electronically limited to 415 km/h (258 mph). Bugatti says the consumer vehicle will have identical specs, but the limitation was necessary to protect the car’s tires.

The W Hotel New York Downtown Opens

W Hotels officially opened the W New York Downtown August 18, a towering structure just steps away from the planned Freedom Tower on Ground Zero.
The 58 floor tower features 217 guest rooms in the new hotel and more in private condos, both offering views of the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Hudson River and Battery Park.
Starwood says that the interior has been designed around the creative notion of a “ripple effect”, featuring a light installation by UK artist Bruce Munro which features 1,260 hanging lights capable of changing color …
