What is the world’s most valuable luxury brand? According to a study released today compiled by market research firm Millward Brown Optimor, the most valuable brand is France’s Louis Vuitton with a brand value of nearly $19.8 billion.
Hermes, with a brand value of $8.45 billion, landed in the second spot, followed by Gucci ($7.58 billion), Chanel ($5.54 billion) and Hennessy ($5.36 billion).

With suites costing up to 11,000 dollars for one night, Italian designer Giorgio Armani on Tuesday opened his first signature hotel in the world’s tallest tower in the Gulf emirate of Dubai.
“Yesterday I saw this hotel come to life and I felt very emotional. It was marvellous to see this come to life,” Armani, wearing a black T-shirt and beige trousers, told reporters at a news conference in the hotel in the Burj Khalifa.

Next year Louis Vuitton will be releasing custom iPad Cases. The cases will come both in the Monogram and in the Damier Graphite design.
Both signature Louis Vuitton options will come in a sleeve case allowing for the iPad to be carried with ease and protection.
We’re actually surprised this hadn’t happened sooner but the lightweight, ultra-portable attaché cases will hit the stores in 2011 for a price of $360.

Louis Vuitton has joined the large-scale advertising movement, dedicated to the World Cup in South Africa. The fashion brand has launched a campaign featuring football stars of all times - Diego Maradona, Pelé and Zinédine Zidane. The campaign was led by famed portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz, who has worked with celebrities all over the world.
