Mandarin Oriental Hotel Barcelona

The Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola is responsible for the interior design of the recently opened Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona. The project reflects the open, cosmopolitan character of the great Mediterranean city where the hotel stands, along with the unmistakeable seal of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The linear simplicity of the building, which was once the head offices of a bank, lends itself perfectly to the clean, balanced interior design by Urquiola.

Madonna, the queen of reinvention, is back. This time she is refashioning herself once again for the Spring / Summer 2010 Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign. SLS AMG Production Begins At Mercedes Benz Sindelfingen Plant

The new gullwing model is now at the starting line: following its world premiere at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt/Main in September 2009, series production of the SLS AMG is now commencing in Sindelfingen, the largest of the Mercedes-Benz production plants.

Emocean Unveils 200M Gigayacht Design

Belgian-based Emocean Yacht Design has unveiled a rendering of a 200-metre gigayacht which if completed would be the world’s largest yacht by far – eclipsing Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich’s Eclipse (ha ha) by a whopping 30 metres. Oasis Of The Seas Innovations

Royal Caribbean claims that Oasis of the Seas is the most technologically advanced vessel in the world.
Children can wear a tag that sends their location, so that parents can pinpoint exactly where their child is on board the 16-deck, 225,282-ton monster. The information is sent to “Royal Connect” branded smartphones rented to parents for a reported $17.50 a day.
Later this year, Royal Caribbean will roll out rental handsets for passengers, allowing guests to call or text each other and view daily events on board.
