Aston Martin Carbon Black Editions

20 December 2009 No Comment

The Aston Martin DBS and the V12 Vantange have been successful sellers for Aston since their launch. To celebrate their success, Aston is launching a unique Carbon Black Special Edition of both models that adds “typically understated flair to these acclaimed models.”

Both models feature Carbon Black metallic paint and have undergone 50 man-hours of man painting following a stringent quality check. The V12 Vantage’s side strake has been made from real carbon fiber with a black mesh that compliments the gloss black 10-spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. A bright grille and front parking sensors complete the exterior on both vehicles.

Inside, the models get Obsidian Black leather highlighted with silver coarse stitch – all hand stitched by the people at Gaydon. The standard seats have been replaced by Piano black carbon fiber and Kevlar seats that cut weight by 17kg.

Also for the Carbon Black special-edition, the Aston Martin 700w Premium Audio System comes standard in the V12 Vantage, while the DBS keeps its the Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS audio system as standard.

The Carbon Black Editions of both cars are available to order from dealerships with pricing to be finalized in early 2010 (expect it to be approximately 5% over the current base prices of both models).
